Qalandia -
This rubble mound is the result of the Israeli bulldozers who swept 11 houses from Qalandiya village in summer 2016 because they were built without Israeli permits. This is the nightmare of the Palestinians who tries against all the harsh reality they live to make material some of their dreams. The owner worked hard in the USA and saved to see his house ready to move. His kids asked their grandfather to send images of the house every week to see it “growing“. they came back to see the real mansion ready to get its decoration and furniture. They were happy and living the dream for few days before the bulldozers moved in and levelled their dream to the ground. Destruction of Palestinian homes have become so frequent and the traumas are renewed over and over.
