Catadores

Sao Paulo -  This image was made in the center of Sao Paulo City. In the same region where the Terminal Bus Station was and where the korean people worked. We can see a police man there because this place called “Cracolândia" has many drug addicts. This house was the “Associação dos Novos Catadores do Brasil". It means that in this house people worked catching recicled garbage. It is a cooperated work that started in 1992. It is not a “Catadores” place anymore.
