The Hague -
To prevent the supporters of both teams meeting (and ‘greeting’) the stadium itself resembles a prison. Moreover, deep in the rural area around the stadium, gates close when the match is on. Surveillance cameras are located in the countryside to make sure supporters don’t escape. This shuts everybody out from large parts of the public pedestrian and cycling areas for the duration of the match.
