Door is the manhole to the private life.
Some people live like in a sewerage, their life is dark and deep. Most of old people, retired in USSR, can’t or don’t want to “bring the light†in it.
The door has probably been here since the Soviet times, it’s very old and has experienced a lot.
The star on the left side was one of the symbols of USSR and it’s military. The figure gives us a message, that the person, who lives here, still remembers what was on 1941-1945 and how he respects the past Soviet regime.
The hanging only on the entrance horseshoe was a token that people believed brings luck and happiness.
