Ornaments and architectural details

Asira ash Shamaliya -  Ornaments were used on the entrances of historic buildings, some of it are of passages from the Quran to express the owners’ gratitude for God’s blessings like in this picture. There are also carvings of flora and fauna and they were placed at the entrances of the houses for decorative reasons and to reflect the flora in the area. The animals were used to reflect strength and to show off.
