Our local guide

Qalandia -  The first to sign up as our guide, is the mayor. This elderly gentleman here is our second guide. He gives us valuable information on recent developments. He shows us a small door in the wall. Especially made for him because his house is on the former airfield occupied by the Israelis. On three set times a day the door opened and he was allowed to go to the village with his special pass. That time is over. Now he has to make a detour by car of two hours to go through another door in the wall to go to his house from the village. Life is so complicated. No wonder his children and grandchildren moved to America.
